Default UK cannot afford green taxes - we must Repeal the Act

We aim to gain 100,000 signatures on our e-petition over the next 12
months calling on Parliament to repeal the Climate Change Act. The
Climate Change Act is having huge social and economic consequences,
which MPs can no longer ignore.

The UK's climate and energy policies are too expensive, too ambitious,
too complex - and ineffective. The government's blind faith in
drastically reducing CO2 emissions will profit only a select group of
green companies and officials at the expense of everyone else. MPs
would do well to rethink these policies.

Britain's 'go it alone' decarbonisation policy will not stop the
climate from changing, but will increase:

fuel poverty,
the export of jobs to countries without climate legislation,
and prevent the economic recovery.

Patrons of the movement include:
Professor David Bellamy
Johnny Ball, broadcaster
Professor Robert (Bob) Carter
Lord Reay, House of Lords

this is supported by Piers Corbyn who said: "Totally desperate
distortions and brazen lies from the CO2 warmistas / BBC who will
continue to claim all extreme events, including the many we predict
using solar activity, are caused by CO2.. Politicians must be attacked
for following this lunatic sect – which must be destroyed.
We will have to mark the warmist propaganda machine lie by lie and
support all events by the Campaign Against the Climate Change Act** UK
and equivalents around the world” ** www.repealtheact.org.uk

Ah yes, the same Piers Corbyn who in November 2011 said:

"warning of an EXTREME COLD PERIOD from ~27 Nov to ~28 Dec in Britain &
West Europe."

followed by:

"Huge snowfalls": Dec 1-2, Dec 14-15 are the dates for heavy snow in a
period from 27 Nov - 28 Dec for Britain."

Good to have him on your side, makes what you claim *so* much more
believable!

Exactly.
Trouble is Graham Goggle Groups users cannot do that!
I think Dave C uses Google.
Jim Cannon does and he doesn't know how to use UseNet either by not
referring back to previous posts.
Still if people wish to leave that is up to them, usenet will go on.

The kill-file is a very useful sanity-retaining tool, the only hiccough
is when a poster follows up a thread and, most reasonably, quotes
someone that resides in your kill-file... not worked out the answer to
that conundrum yet.

As an aside, I also read posts via Google on my Galaxy S3 phone. I've
searched for software to read UseNet on my smartphone but to no avail -
anyone else succeeded?

If by smartphone you mean iPhone then Newstap us quite good. You need to
pay a small fee though for full functionality!

Yes I have!
I use Android Usenet reader demo (free) version.
Just search for "android usenet" in Google Play apps area.
Good luck Wendy.

PS I also use Facebook on my phone too :-))
