Apparently is or has recently been snowing in Chester. I am at Geneva Airport waiting to fly back to Liverpool.

Coventry is in the dry zone, it would appear. There were a few flakes falling at about 0730 when I left for work, nothing since.

a few flakes only here, and I agree the radar looks ominous. On r4ain today
premium we have two areas of snow colliding above Dorridge, yet bugger all
snow. My wife is off to the pix in Warwick this evening and if I believed
the radar, second thoughts perhaps.

Can one have to areas of snow converging over the Midlands, one fro the west
and one from the east, most odd.

We've been experiencing very, very light snowfall since 10am. The
snowfall has increasedg in strength as the day as slowly warmed. -4c at
9.00am and currently temperature is -.06c Calm wind all day.

Roads and pavements now have a thin covering of snow. All gardens in
this area still have a 4cm snow cover from a previous snowfall.

SE Sheffield/NE Derbyshire border, closest town is Eckington.

It has been snowing here most of the day (apart from a dry period
1030z to 1315z. Light in intensity, but starting to settle now ground
surfaces are cooling down again.
