A lovely day to study the birds in the garden and utilise the rare
light. Some of the birds didn't look quite as impressed!

I went for that walk Dave and wished I took some scraps for the wild life that was everywhere.

Fantastic pics Dave! We have been doing our best to keep our garden birds fed and watered. Discovered a female blackcap residing in a bush where we have placed fat balls. She is very territorial and repels all borders, it's fascinating to observe.

Fabulous pics, such clarity! We love to see all manner of wildlife and once
the leader of our walking group alerted us to a male Golden oriole he said
was quite rare.

At first we imagined it an escaped canary. This was late Bluebell time near
an orchard in a 'remote' part of Kent, early Nineties.
Please continue to post similar if you can.

I'm too afraid to put out bread for the birds, has we've had rats in our
garden. :-/

Beautiful!

My garden is alive with small birds, but unfortunately my
windows face south-east so they are against the light most of
the time so my pics are nothing like as good as yours.

I'm sure your pics are good Anne. AFter all, wildlife watching and
photography are my main hobby these days so I can put a lot of time into
getting good results. It's not good for the wildlife but the snow does
give us an opportunity to see our wonderful birds and animals at close
quarters.
