Is closing schools safe?
If the schools are open, then the kids are under supervision and
controlled in what they are allowed to do. With the schools closed, the kids are free to do what they want, unsupervised and uncontrolled. The East of England Ambulance Service are testament to this. http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/broken_l...snow_1_1800065 So which is safer, schools open or schools closed? jim, Northampton |

So which is safer, schools open or schools closed? IMHO, provided the school has the legal staff:pupil(*1) ratio, heating, lunch provision and loos(*) school open is safer. (*1) Note "staff" not just "teachers". (*2) Do any schools still have, as their only toilets, unheated outside ones? -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. |
