Default Still snow cover Langtoft Monday 2300

100% when I left for London this morning and about 75% in the garden when I got home tonight and more than this in other parts of the village.
Ken will probably evidence this from his Lead Mill site as well, and a lot of this is down to location, a N-S fairly deep valley, quite well protected from the wind and rain the past couple of days.
This morning the cover extended about 3 miles to the South and maybe 2 to the East and hard to tell to the West and impossible to see North. But tonight driving back (yes it's dark, but the moon was out!)there was almost nothing until dropping down into the village.
An interesting location this, so keen to see what's left when I wake up.

David Mitchell. Langtoft. East Riding.

Hi, David,
Very localised and not representative of the area in general but interesting
as you say and people live in these places!
Current (13Z 29th) 60% snow cover and 5cm at the Lead Mill but just patches
at the Met O site.
I suspect 50% by tomorrow.
Current Copley MetO site 13Z, Wind S 8KT, vis 10 miles, overcast, rain,
temp 6C dew 5C, 993mb falling. 14.8mm rain last night.
Several local roads flooded last night with snow melt and rain.
Best wishes,
Ken

Less than 50% this morning, but still a lot of snow in the village.
