0001 29th to 0001 30th Postbridge collected 69.4 mm rainfall (a lot of it
orographic enhancement). There would have been a lot more higher up at places like Cut Hill. Since 0000 30th (today) rainfall has been around 12mm. No wonder it is very squelchy out there at present with an awful lot of running water in places where it doesn't usually run. Pleasant though, with sunshine and a mild 6C at 0845. Wind W F2 at home, F4 on the open moor. Bring back the polar air please so the ground can freeze and become firm for easy walking again!
