Tideswell, Derbyshire - Monday 11th February 2013
-----------------------------------------------------

0630z ENE F4 2500 -SN 8St004 -00.9/-00.9 998
RMK: A bleak morning with a bitter wind. About 8cm lying snow.
There's been quite a bit of drifting but there's not enough snow
for that to be a problem. The deepest in the immediate area
is only 25-30cm. No doubt conditions are much worse higher up
(e.g. the Cat & Fiddle road) where it probably stayed as snow
all day yesterday. Our road (untreated) isn't too clever this
morning. It's got a thick layer of frozen slush topped by a few cm
of powder that's blowing around a bit in the wind. This event, so
far, is much less severe than the one last Tuesday which had
much more snow.

RMK: An icy wind. 8cm lying snow with some minor drifting.
Minor roads are affected by frozen slush and snow. Main roads
are mostly clear apart from a bit of slush, except where snow
is still blowing across the roads from the fields.
