It will probably change now, but for a couple of days gfs has look very easterly for us at the later end of it's runs. I think the 12z is even stronger than the last in showing this.

If things carry on this way the first half of March could still be wintry.

Was a bit of a shock waiting for the bus at Gatwick this morning at 6am, quite funny to see some passengers still wearing shorts and flip flops ~ we were better prepared :-)

The weather in Antigua in February is super, a hot sun yet not to humid to the point that we didn't need to put the air-con on in our room.

We've just had an Easterly for a week Keith and yes it has been cold the
last couple of days but I wouldn't get too excited even if that chart
was to verify.

Indeed.

BTW, I'm impressed by how, no sooner had you said that it seemed like
ages since we had a properly easterly, then the weather gods served one
up. How about your saying that it's a long time since we had a dry and
sunny summer but not one that was unpleasantly hot. :)

"

sunny summer but not one that was unpleasantly hot" - an unimaginable
situation, though an easterly in summer here on the east coast isn't too
bad.
