I'm fed up with them telling me how glorious the weather is today. It's bloody cold in that north east wind today and we do have some sun, I would be even more p&^%^%d off if I lived further up the east coast were the sun hasn't appeared at all for days.
2 weeks and the evenings start drawing in !!! Bah humbug... Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" |

Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" My mean for June is currently running at -2.7°C below the average for the month. Mini iceage the past year I think! Still think summers going to be good though, just not arrived yet. Keith (Southend) |

Wasn't too bad today 14c and a bit of sun. 16c yesterday and glorious, but quite a chill in the air. Nights are still chilly, around 3 to 4c.

We can't have people using the "Sea" word, quite apart from the meteorological inaccuracy. Nothing too warm here either, max 17.9°C with a F4 NE'ly which has dropped only to F3 overnight. St and Sc arrived earlier than usual today - overcast by 8 pm. For the SE this is a waste of an anticyclone - I demand 30°C immediately. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, NE Surrey, 556 ft. |

Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" Even worse today (9th), maximum of 13.9°C, coldest this month, at least it didn't rain as we had a christening in the family followed by a BBQ, all doors flung open, not felt so cold since last year with another outside event for the Queens diamond jubilee (10.9° 3rd June 2012). Bring on the westerlies, much milder. Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" |
