Hi
I've just been examining the UKP daily rainfall data maintained by the Met Office as you do on beautiful days such as day because you're very, very sad and... I know the spring here in the SW had been dry, but I never realised that we had already had two drought (old style 15 days =0.25 mm on any day) events here, and that we probably are already on day 17 of the third (if my Vantage Pro is correct here in mid Devon). Hopefully I have parsed the data correctly but I'm sure you'll put me right if I haven't! Bruce.
