Doesn't surprise me - at least she didn't call it Nowheresville...

She had to get out of the BBC and join GMTV just to get round the immovable object that is Carol Kirkwood and try and get into the limelight - it really is a dog eat dog world out there nowadays.

She looks a happy wee sole and I wish her all the best at GMTV and hope someone puts her right about Mt Aviemore in the Cairngorms!

You think that there's something a bit fishy about her?

Well I can just about believe that you can have a grass fire in a city like
London, but can you really have a forest fire in a town like Fife :-?

Cheers, Alastair.

Ignorance knows no bounds. It's like somebody in St Andrews saying
'the English town of Surrey'. A crash course in geography north of
Watford is needed but best not get into anything too advanced, saying that
Fife is sometimes known as 'The Kingdom of Fife' would really confuse
'em and make them think that part of Scotland had already declared
independence......

Reminds me of one sports presenter who announced that "There will be
dancing in the streets of Raith, tonight", after Raith Rovers won a
match quite convincingly that they were not supposed to win at all.

There is no town of Raith. Raith Rovers actually play in Kirkcaldy.
Kirkcaldy itself, funnily enough, is in the town of Fife. Which has just
burned down. Apparently.

Ye gods! Also, did you notice that fire **breaked** out near a
beach at Poole?
