Do any you remember?
Philip Eden Martin Rowley Mike Tullett Will Hand Jack Harrison Joe Hunt John Hall Trevor Appleton George Booth This was a great ng, years ago. Where are they now? We had our distractors like nguk, redtube, and who could forget matt the ego. I'd like to see this ng become more courteous and professional again. Joe Egginton Wolverhampton 175m asl. |

Many of us figured in Les Crossan's 'mugshots' in the 90's. The only regular 'Mugshot' who still posts is Norman. If I remember, Jack Harrison, Norman and I were the three bearded ones. And whilst we are going back to the 'stione age', let us not forget Paul Bartlett. Phil |

We were indeed the 3 bearded ones. I don't think I would recognise myself without the beard. It's 50 years since it was last removed. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. |

Joe Egginton writes: Do any you remember? Philip Eden Martin Rowley Mike Tullett Will Hand Jack Harrison Joe Hunt John Hall I remember him quite well. ![]() Trevor Appleton George Booth This was a great ng, years ago. Where are they now? I still post from time to time, as I think do Martin and George. We know why Will largely stopped posting, because he told us, and can make a fair guess about why Philip stopped. And, of course, very sadly we know why Mike stopped. We had our distractors like nguk, redtube, and who could forget matt the ego. I'd like to see this ng become more courteous and professional again. Sadly, it's unlikely to happen. But there's still plenty of good stuff being posted if you skip the interminable AGW wrangles. -- John Hall "Sir, I have found you an argument; but I am not obliged to find you an understanding." I don't see any of it unless someone quotes it. For me this is still a courteous and professional place. Perhaps I do occasionally filter out some stuff that I would actually like to read but that's a small penalty to pay to ensure that the unwanted stuff is eliminated. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. |
