The difficulty is that most of the British population have nowhere near your level of intelligence Len. Somehow, the message has to get across. Unfortunately, just like many of the other public information campaigns, much of it will fall on deaf ears, as the "cry wolf" has happened far too many times.

Lose the hubris and the message may begin to get home. Keep the status quo that: "We are the best and it's just silly to question us, or our information and forecasts, no matter what the outcome" and guess what happens?
