A Guardian AGW luvvie, with away over the top previous on AGW, is stuck in a scientific expedition vessel trapped off Antarctica in sea ice caused by the effects of AGW the subsequent melting land based ice. Og course see ice is much more impervious to melting than land based ice regardless of any latitude problems.

But hold on there's mo The biggest producers globally of Wind turbines, which are manufactured from the energy produced by the biggest utiliser of coal!!!!, has chugged its way to help break free from the non existent imaginary Antarctic ice, the Russian passenger ship MV Akademik Shokalskiy, has now found that the sea ice caused by Antarctic ice cap melting, thus creating sea ice that is impervious to melting, is so thick that the Chinese Ice breaker cannot actually break through!!!!!!!

From Yahoo

"The group became stuck when unexpected weather forced their ship into heavy ice and since becoming stranded have sat through an intense blizzard which appears to have increased the build up of ice around them.

One of the scientists onboard, Chris Turney, said the team had been attempting to update the scientific records made by Mawson's group a century ago -- records which he said have become crucial in charting signs of global warming."

Good work Chris.

Oh the irony, eh?

http://news.yahoo.com/rescue-underwa...015038322.html

Maybe the wind turbines have tipped the climate balance and the ice is a result of less planned CO2. Nah , can't be. The best climate brains in the world all 97% of them have already told us that sea ice in the SH is growing because
the land ice is melting and we all know that land ice melts much faster than see ice due to the 13th law of thermodynamics as explained by professor Dawkins and an Islamist Cleric

In the arctic, the sea ice and the land ice have both been melting fast

and I've not read a scientific study that suggests that one is "more

impervious to melting" than the other. Maybe Lawrence can provide us

with the evidence.

No, it was meant to be inebriated irony served on the rocks of sarcasm.

We are being fed the line that the ice is melting on the Antarctic land mass but the melt water than freezes more readily on the sea sitting on top of the salt water. The whole affair sums up the AGW really, a determined dogma despite reality. The scientific consensus of 99.9999999 % who are telling us that AGW will melt all the global ice are bang on target in my humble opinion and is further evidence that Climate science is going to the dogmas.

I was being mischievously sarcastic.

The whole affair of a team of 'climate' scientist sponsored I believe in part by the Guardian and BBC, going to the Southern oceans in a bid to show that AGW is reducing the ice and then getting stuck in that very ice that is supposed to be disappearing is another prime example of 'big oil and the Tobacco industry' entrapment if you ask me. The swine's.

Yes, and I was the one who started feeding that line. What is it
about it don't you understand?

Oh look. A diversionary tactic. Instead of responding to my request, you

ask a completely unrelated question of me.

Why?

Yes, why did you instead of answering my request?

Not diversionary at all. But why six days what are you afraid off?

Blimey the Chinese Ice breaker has given up, the disappearing Antarctic sea ice is just too thick to breakthrough, their last hope is an Australian ice breaker -Australian......strewth who'd have thought the aussies had issues with Ice. Fair Dinkum to em though. Anyhow if that can't break through then its an air lift to get the passengers off the entombed ship.
