That is quite amazing Will.

Don't forget to issue these figures with warnings, as we wouldn't want to see you upset people who have been flooded. I understand that the weather on the South Devon coast was pretty appalling and Dawlish is now completely washed up. Ah well, needed replacing years ago.

Bloody hell Will.
That is some wetness.
And me just a few 10s of km away with only

Feb 149 mm
YTD 347.7 mm

Winter to date 517 mm (beaten my record of 514 mm in winter 1993-94)

I am a famous sceptic according to some on this ng so I will continue with this honourable trait.

Are you sure about your measurements?
Have you corroborating evidence from nearby Dartmoor sites?
Has someone been ****ing in your rain gauge for a laugh?

You are quite well known in Dartmoor circles for your weather knowledge after all. I would n't be surprised if someone is taking the Dawlish.

Hi, Will,
How refreshing - a thread where posters use real names!(I only tend to read those anyway).
Copley, winter to date 301.1mm (129% of normal 233.0mm)
Year to date 210.8mm (146%)
February to date 96.4mm (138%)
No competition I'm afraid.

Awwww. Now using a reply to someone who has "left the group" to have a little whine and a moan. Nice. *))

As I recall and I'm not afraid to admit my mistake if this is incorrect, Will said that he was not going to post regularly, but he would continue to make occasional posts about issues of interest.

There is no whine or moan here, what are you referring to? A touch of sarcasm I freely admit to.
