Yes but any slight move to the SE/S and cold easterlies set in, Its interesting as Typhoon Nuri moves north and is set to deflect the jet stream causing possibly a record breaking early November cold spell as long term blocking sets up. Now if the jet ducks and dives more than an Ofsted adviser as a change of government comes along; so that must equate to either very warm or very cold weather as we get that north or South flow from higher to lower latitudes. Is this further global warming or how the interglacial ended.

I would join in this technical discussion but feel I am not sufficiently

Col I know it sounds childish, but he really did start it, yes I know I should have ignored it but it would try the patience of a saint. I'll leave it at that now as it is Armistice Sunday.

Always best to wait until outcome to judge. *))

I'm wrong almost 20% of the time and there has certainly been a shift to a more blocked regime on the models this evening.

But of course
I'm not judging, merely commenting on how the models are looking
with respect to your forecast.

I'm wrong almost 20% of the time and there has certainly been a shift to a
more blocked regime on the models this evening.

Latest runs don't show quite the same easterly push as before,
but it's certainly not 'Atlantic weather'.
