I can't use the Pythonesque "This is getting silly" though as it already was. There was some sleety snow falling in fog at the highest point on the trans Pennine M62 on Saturday but it wasn't sticking at 3C ambient. Curiously it was actually falling as rain on the Manchester side although the air temperature had fallen to 1C according the the cars outside thermometer. Manchester clearly has the power to make it rain! -- Regards, Martin Brown |

If anybody actually pays for this drivel they have my deepest sympathy. Happy New Year RonB |

I've always thought that. A mind full of unintelligible acronyms and luminous yellow highlighting in a dense, Arial Black italic font. What a benchmark for clarity he sets. It's this total lack of clarity that I guess also allows for his unique verification of the work - e.g. "The Germans stole our snow". Richard |

(I can't do a weather update as I'm not there.) MS |

I wonder what Stephen Hawking makes of this particular fellow astrophysicist? It beggars belief |
