Temperature dropped to 1.4C at around 8.00 am in a short spell of snow
which did not settle. Well according to my wife, I missed it!! A few flakes of sleety stuff now but none of it settled. Dave |

Dave The uksnowmap.com map - despite its crowdsourcing inaccuracies - nicely showed the NE edge of the rain turning to snow earlier today. A friend claimed to have seen a flake of snow in London yesterday which obviously means it snowed on my birthday. Either that or it was pigeon crap...! Richard |

Will ----------------------------------------- I know - as they say you couldn't make it up! I'm sure someone might say "idiot" even ;-) These days I tend to stay up late watching cricket from around the world or pouring over the charts. Usually awake by 8 though but my wife is in my bad books for not waking me to tell me. No worries though Will, been wet snow on and off all morning but not settling. Dave |

Richard ------------------------------------------------------- He was probably right. There were a few flakes in the air early on. |
