Cold front with thunder, lightning and hail in Brussels
 

Brussels on Wednesday 28th January 2015

Slight rain at first, then a cloudy but dry morning with a fresh and
gusty SSW to SW wind. Light to moderate rain from around 14.00 local time.

Threatening sky with fairly heavy rain, small hail, a couple of flashes
of lightning and several rumbles of thunder for 20 minutes or so after
16.55 as the cold front passed. Wind veered W and decreased and the
temperature at Uccle fell from 7.2°C to 3.3°C between 17.00 and 18.00.

Light rain continued until about 19.00 but it is dry now with broken cloud.
