I have only just noticed this post, somewhat belatedly, probably
because the 23rd was the warmest day of the month here at 21.4 deg C.
So there!

With sunny intervals/periods and a light N to NE wind, this day would
hitherto have been prime Solent MRSC territory, I estimate that it
would have reported a maximum of about 22.5 degrees C.
