More like summer (FOR SOME) on Wednesday, more like winter for others!
"Colin Youngs" wrote in message ... Wednesday 24th June 2015 Colin, I really must object. Once again today the temperatures have struggled to reach double fuigures. We last saw the sun briefly last Sunday since when it has been cold, wet and dismal. A number of trees here have yet to come into leaf and delicate plants like beetroot have gone purple. Summer bedding has yet to be planted out and many local flower shows have been cancelled. It was warmer for much of the winter and it seems as this year will be the year without a summer. You should remember that Heathrow is nearer to Geneva than it is to us! Phil 40 miles north of Inverness |
