Bright and warm morning with variable medium-level cloud and some sunshine. Mostly cloudy after midday, but still bright at times.

Freshening NW wind set in abruptly soon after 14.00 local time, accompanied by a sharp fall in temperature of about 6 deg. C in an hour or so. Shower just before 17.00, with a couple of subdued rumbles of thunder, then brighter again with broken cloud and sunny intervals during the evening.
