A fresher day today with a moderate WSW breeze. Maximum of 19.7C in Penzance.
Plenty of small Cu development from 1 mile inland, but on windward coasts it was glorious, which is where I headed. Strong prolonged sunshine. Zennor around noon http://www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/zennor.html Windward coasts are the place to be in Spring/Summer for sunshine. It's such a shame sunshine isn't recorded right on the coast from St Ives around to Porthcurno, it's so much sunnier the a few hundred yards inland. Take a look at the 2 pictures from Sennen today, http://www.sennen-cove.com/index.htm blue looking west from the north facing harbour beach (frontal cloud in the distance, as there has been all day)turn the camera around, there are the Cu.
