Precision masterclass from Philip Avery
Just heard the 0030 R4 forecast. The sole mention of temperature for the whole UK tomorrow was as follows: "Temperatures? 17 to 25 should just about cover it". Usually does at this time of year, Phil baby. This is just rubbish and there's quite lot of it.

This is not the worst I've ever heard, which came from Suzanne Charlton during a cold spell in the 90's, possibly Dec 1995. The overnight minimum for Scotland was to be simply "-3 to -16". I nearly fell off the chair but nowadays it induces no more than a roll of the eyes. Sad. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |
