Default OT but for WMII

I am trying to move my WMII onto a low powered 'Justo'p which runs
Windows 8.1, soon to be upgraded to Windows 10. Only just got it.

The problem I have is my Weather Station is connected via a USB to
Serial adaptor cable. This has been working on my old Windows XP PC for
some years now. I have found the old CD with the driver but it still
won't recognise any ports.

Any ideas or help would much appreciated.
