Sunny and warm in Brussels: cloud and cool breeze mid-afternoon

Sunny and very warm until mid-afternoon with just some patches of high and medium level cloud and a light S to SW wind.

Soon after 15.00 local time, increasingly dark and threatening cloud of rather turbulent appearance moved in from the west, with an abrupt fall in temperature from about 28°C to 22°C and a moderate, gusty breeze veering to WNW. No thunder, lightning or rain, however, and the sky gradually lost its threatening aspect, though remaining cloudy. It stayed dry until a shower at 18.00. Light SW wind again in the evening.
