Hi, All,
Bit of a shock with this flow off the North Sea - rarely good news in Teesdale and it looks set for a while yet. Lots of cloud, light rain and low max temperatures. Our sunny August is now but a distant memory (:0( COPLEY MET. OFFICE SITE manual readings 10hr 3rd September, Wind NW 9 knots (force 3) gusting 11 knots. Visibility 10 miles. Overcast, light rain. Temperature 9°C Humidity 75%. Barometer (adjusted to sea level) 1015mb steady. Maximum today 8.8°C Last night's minimum 7.1°C Grass minimum 5.1°C 30cm earth 14.5°C Past 24 hours' precipitation 1.1mm Sun today 0.0hr Highest gust today 17 knots (19mph).
