Swanston, Edinburgh August and Summer 2015
August
Quite a reasonable month with temperatures close to average. Less rainfall than average and more sunshine than average. Can't complain. Mean max 18.6C, mean min 11.2C, overall mean 14.9C Rainfall 43.9mm, wettest day 15.9mm on the 22nd (Happy Birthday to me) Sun 206.43 hrs, sunniest day 13.76 hrs on the 3rd Summer 2015 Mean max 17.8C, mean min 10.2C, season mean 14.0C Total rainfall 189.4mm, total sunshine 505.4hrs June dry and sunny, July wet and cloudy, August back to dry and sunny Again, temperatures close to average, with rainfall slightly below average and sunshine slighly above average. -- George in Swanston, Edinburgh, 580'asl www.swanstonweather.co.uk www.eppingweather.co.uk www.winter1947.co.uk |
