You may say that but below freezing wind chill and thick fog (less than 100
metres vis.) is quite common up here in winter above 400 metres, often
accompanied by drizzle droplets and a good breeze. Not that common in
September though! :-) Fogs up here are of the thick hill fog variety for
which no warnings are issued despite them often being thicker (and freezing
sometimes) than radiation fogs lower down.
