It's not very deep and the sun is clearly visible. There's blue sky above the fog. The Cat and Fiddle webcam shows that it has been clear and sunny with a deep blue sky up there since sunrise. The fog burned off around 1000z. We were then back to warm sunshine from a deep blue sky. It looked as if we were in for a repeat of yesterday but a very slight S'ly drift set in around midday and this brought the fog rolling back in around 1330z. We've had thick fog since then.
