There was some heavy rain overnight, 20.0mm in the 24 hours to 09:00 today.
Then a muggy drizzly, murky morning, then the sun came out to give a lovely mid afternoon. http://www.sennen-cove.com/index.htm The temperature reached 16.8C in Penzance, 16.4C in St Ives. There's been fairly relentless big surf lately, with 12' on the Porthleven reef, 15' on the Cribbar, Fistral on a few occasions.
