Quite breezy in Brussels: squally showers late afternoon

Cloudy start but it brightened up mid-morning with weak sunshine at times through high and medium-level cloud. Sunny intervals and increasing convection after midday. Lengthy, squally shower just after 16.00 local time, and further intermittent light rain until about 17.30. Dry through the evening. Still quite mild until mid-afternoon, but fall in temperature in the rain. Mostly moderate SW to WSW wind became fresh and gusty during the afternoon showers.
