The air temperature reached 14.0 deg C at 12:33GMT today making it the
highest December temperature seen at my site for at least 8 years. In mid December 2007 it reached 14.2 at Bournemouth and 13.8 at Thorney but there is a short gap in my record then, so I cannot tell whether or not today has beaten the max. where I am, half way between the two. It isn't even wet (2.0 mm in the last 3 days) "but at least it will be mild". Again. -- Dave Fareham (W) |
