Yeah well I guess he thinks he is getting too old now, he's only late 70s
fhs :-)

Nice to see a bit of winter, lovely picture, thanks Alan. Just dull, boring,
grey and very mild here with 8C.

It's not so much the age, we're both over seventy and Lesley is as fit
as ever, but the sheer practicality of living somewhere where the
nearest public transport is two kilometres away at the bottom of a one
in five hill, the nearest, in fact, only neighbour is one hundred metres
away and any mishap can have serious consequences. This was brought home
to me at the end of August when climbing out of the bath my newly
refurbished replacement hip 'popped', my right leg dropped eighteen
inches into the bath connected to my body only by skin and muscle and I
was left standing on my left leg in the bath while clinging on to the
taps with my left hand, trying to support my uncontrollable right leg
with my right hand in great pain bellowing at the top of my voice for
Lesley who was about to drive into Helensburgh on a shopping errand.

Nice to see a bit of winter, lovely picture, thanks Alan. Just dull, boring,
grey and very mild here with 8C.

It'll come, don't worry.
