IIRC, Boulmer is in Northumberland, so is perhaps the most remarkable

Often high in NE England during these setups. Mostly down to slight fohn from the Pennines. I think Durham has some high winter readings in past records. NE coast (and Copley!) very often the sunniest part of England in winter.
