Very windy in Brussels: light rain this morning but bright afternoon
Brussels on Thursday 23rd February 2017
Overcast morning with a freshening SW wind. Intermittent light rain in the late morning and over midday. Clearance to broken cloud and sunshine by 14.00 local time, but rather cloudy again by late afternoon. Light showers after dark. Most of the recorded rainfall fell on Wednesday evening and overnight. Fresh to strong SW wind veered WSW to W during the afternoon: some fierce gusts around midday and during the afternoon - 49 kn at Uccle and 51 kn at the Airport.
