BBC weather centre and appologies for incorrect forecasts
Listening to "Feedback" tonight on radio 4. after a listener complained, the
Manager of the BBC Weather Centre explains what happens when the forecast goes wrong. He says " why they don't apologise but do say what went wrong. And why if they are 12 hours out with a forecast they consider it " not a bad forecast" !!! I'd agree that 12 hours out when forecasting 5 days ahead, or even 3 days ahead, is pretty good.
