[OBS] Ystrad, Rhondda - Fri 13 Jul 2018
0900z: 21005KT 15km 4CU015 20.6/16.0 QFF 1021.1 steady.
SYNOP: 42465 42105 10206 20160 40211 57001 84200 333 84815= Thursday's convective cloud dispersed quickly during the evening, and the layer clouds above thinned and broke around the same time. Variable amounts of stratocumulus overnight, mainly small amounts after 0300z. Clear skies at first after dawn, and rather misty. Convection has started in the past hour and a half, and the visibility has improved. Some fairly tall-looking cumulus but probably only cu med at worst due to the effect of the low base.
