February Mean max 10.0C, mean min 3.9C, overall mean 6.9C Rainfall 22.8 mm Sunshine 124.7 hours A memorable (and very pleasant) month. Very mild, dry and sunny. First few days saw some snow and frost before it turned much milder with SW winds dominating. Final week of the month notably warm and sunny 25th-27th 27.2 hours of sun 25th Tmax 15.5C, the highest for February in short record here (2014) Winter 2018/19 Mean max 8.0C (warmest on record), min 3.0C, overall mean 5.6C (warmest) Rain 68.1mm (dryest) Sun 261 hours (sunniest).
