Cloudy for much of the morning, with light rain for a couple of hours before dawn, and moderate rain for a couple of hours mid-morning.

Dry and brighter for a time over midday and in the early afternoon, with sunny intervals, but then mostly cloudy again for the rest of the afternoon.

Brighter sky towards dusk as the low cloud dispersed, leaving extensive but thin high and medium-level cloud.

Cool: fairly light S to SSW wind.
