Low cloud broke and cleared rapidly after 0900z. Occasional Ac castellanus with the suspicion of a well-developed one with some glaciation to the north-east an hour ago. Patchy thin clrrus above. Visibility is now good, but still hazy-looking. Surface wind NE-ENE F3-4.

Slight rain (well-spaced large drops) 1350z to 1400z. Thunderstorm without precipitation 1414z to 1435z. The storm didn't develop until it had passed my location, but could be rumbling away to the N and NW as it was moving away. Patchy stratocumulus has developed under the altocumulus, whose castellanus turrets can be seen through gaps. Some dense cirrus above. Good breaks in the cloud 1200z to 1315z. Good visibility. Surface wind NE-ENE F3-4, dropping to F2 1330z-1400z. Maximum temperature so far today is 29.7 (1309z).
