It has been a beautiful crisp, clear, mainly sunny and dry winter's day in Didsbury, south Manchester after early cloud and murk broke up before 10 am.. Amazing the difference in weather in so relatively short a distance! After another frosty night and early morning, it became less cold than for a week with max nudging 5c. It was also much less windy here than forecast.
