Colder here! In contrast, no sunshine at all in Didsbury, south Manchester, though bright intervals in the afternoon. Freezing fog until mid-morning and it continued murky. A brief snow shower 1225-1240 gave very slight snow grain deposit. Temperature remained below freezing virtually all day. Max temp at Rostherne briefly 0.1c or 0.2c at end of the afternoon.
