0900z: 23015G28KT 40km 1CU015 (1SC030) 2.6/1.1 QFF 981.9 rising.
SYNOP: 41482 12315 10026 20011 49819 53010 70181 81800 333 81815 90710 91128= Active cold front through just after 2000z, with heavy rain, a seven degree temperature drop and a 150 degree wind veer. Moderate to heavy rain (37 mm/hr at 2005z) became slight to moderate rain and snow by 2100z, ceasing by 2330z with no accumulations. Occasional slight showers of rain and snow during the rest of the night, with some brief moderate showers between 0600z and 0730z. Cloudy until midnight, but with breaks developing thereafter. Visibility moderate or poor becoming very good before midnight, then briefly moderate in showers. SYNOP: 11484 12321 10058 20023 49826 50007 60011 70381 81902 333 81918 90710 91128= Dry and sunny since 0900z. Small amounts of convective cloud, with the odd CB visible to the west. Some dense cirrus to the south-east, moving towards the north-east. Excellent visibility. SYNOP: 42584 22410 10065 20026 49835 53009 82801 333 82820 90710 91127= Dry and sunny, but small increase in convective cloud recently. Excellent visibility. Surface wind SW F5-6 at first with gusts to 35 knots, moderating to F3-4 over the past half an hour.
