(1SC050) 6AC100 7.4/5.2 QFF 1000.7 rising SYNOP: 11457 72724 10074 20052 40007 52023 60011 78011 8396/ 333 82918 86360 91036 90710 91142= Beaufort letters (1100-1200Z): b,bcjp,cphr,cpro A beautiful morning with barely a cloud in the sky until 1100Z when a Cb and associated cloud raced in from the west. A moderate shower of rain and tiny 1mm diameter hailstones (that stung!) commenced at 1118Z easing to slight by 1135Z. Poor visibility of 3000m at the onset of the shower. Visibility away from the showers is 25km. Strong westerly wind, F6. The state of the sea is rough with numerous foamy crests. RH 86%.
