Default Interesting developments in each gfs run?

Ive noticed with each run cold air is being forced into
russia, and also the development of a good greenland high
i understand that models constantly change, but does this hint
at a possibility of a cold or very cold nov?

Neil. That should be 'Mocking'. I mean it's 16 days away.
Those LRF are full of false hope. Unless you're a Nuancian, of course.

No - I think it will just be, well brisk? I roughly calculate that the
1000/500 thickness would only be 528 over NE Scotland (around Aberdeen) and
540 around Cornwall. Its always difficult to be precise as the greens and
blues tend to merge for me, but then again the 'forecast' is two weeks off
so hardly precise either.
