Hot and killer thunder in Finland
Hottest day this summer so far, +33.3C in Mietoinen near Turku (SW
Finland). One person died, seven were injured when a lightning hit a tree at the beach in Merikarvia some 120 km north of Turku. Yesterday, several reports of downbursts and squalls causing forest damage. And the heat wave continues. Elena (vacation in August this year ) |
