Anybody had a look at the MODIS image from this morning - it make
fascinating viewing.

I've cropped and chopped it a bit (460k) and loaded it here
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/colex/

Anybody any ideas on the wave formations over the SE corner (slightly
increased gradient with consequential mixing?)? How about the pond ripple'
between Dover and Calais? Have all the ferries parked in the middle and
caused the ripples that way :o)

Some nice dendritic features as well - demonstrated by my trip to Sainsburys
(on the Bagshot round road coming out of Bracknell) which was basking in
sunshine (misty though) whilst at home (on the road out towards Wokingham)
it was less than 100m.

Do you have the full link to the MODIS image? The link you've quoted seems to

Sorry - that's me messing around with some JavaScript to see if I can get
some protection onto my site (as its a family site and I'm not overly keen
on family photos being available to anybody) with mixed success!

The full link is URL
