If the cab acts as a sheathed electical cage isolated from the ground
by the rubber tyres (i.e. a Faraday cage) then it should be pretty
safe.

When I had an allotment one of the growers took me to see his Maize, or what
was left of it. A storm came, so he avoided the rain by getting into his
car, big bang and saw his row of Maize which had been tall going up in
smoke. He was Ok but a bit shaken!!!

Probably even safer!

It will take the most direct route ie down through the plough. Still
wouldn't like to be witness to it.

Risk of arcing
Deafness
Radiation burns
etc etc

Yes, particularly as my tractor does not have a cab. :-(

And no, I am not prepared to undertake experiments.
