Default Cold snap on or off?

"..... I'm concerned about that big Azores High drifting on to the scene and
spoiling things for the South. Let's hope not."
Posted earlier today in response to Darren's summary - are the charts now
suggesting this or should 24 hour about turns be ignored?

Yeah! Robbie, you should of worked harder at school,

so you could have got a good high paying job in a warm
office. Don't begrudge us some snow. ;-)

Or you just happen to work from home doing something that doesn't
require going outdoors. ;-)

Hope you lot who expect those of us in an emergency to get to you to save
your life don't complain when we take longer to get to you because of the
weather that you hoped would happen!!!!

It's all exciting until you are up to your bits in it....

Be that as it may, I have just come home to see the five-day forecast
for Godalming [i.e. SW Surrey or so] includes -9 on Tuesday/Weds night.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2074

Greenhouse heater to be cleaned and checked, bubblepack to be found or
obtained and fixed.

About to delve in Wetterzentrale for more detail.
